  3. I love her technique too!

Funny thing I have a bunch made the Billie Lauder way and I think they are so ugly, LOL. Someone told me not to look at the 'small picture' but to wait till I got them all together, stepped back and looked again. I hope that helps, cuz I do love scrappy quilts.

  4. Hi Luv! Once I was a farnmer's daughter! Long ago in Indiana, the eldest of five kids. Since then I have turned into a gypsy that lived a perfectly ordinary life in 13 states, and a gypsy life in Europe, and the Middle East. one of my younger sisters lives on the island of Cyprus now, and I used it as a base for my explorations and for sailing. I read your grumpy discouraged complaint on the quilted paradise board and laughed! been there - done that! plus I am 81 now and am grumpy myself because things do not work out so well for me physically as they used to! I live alone is a nice little house 4 hours distant from my only son, here on the Texas coast. ( At least it isn't snowing or flooding or being blown to bits!)
Is there anything I can do to cheer you up?

I am so glad I found you again. I love the way you teach and after finding you all those years ago, I found that i always looked for the easiest way to cut and sew patches together without cutting all those squares and triangles.

  13. At a garage sale of a deceased quilter I found a Billie Lauder mystery quilt. No instructions. It has dark and plaid fabrics. Any clues on what pattern was used?
